Heritage Programme Management

An estate is not restored once: it is conserved and enhanced, year after year.

We represent the owner, plan the work and coordinate whoever carries it out, on a rolling engagement reviewed and adjusted each year.

One point of contact for the whole estate, and expenditure that can be planned.

Planned conservation and maintenance programmes: multi-year plans, periodic inspections, condition records, a hierarchy of priorities and an agreed budget.

Continuous technical assistance: routine care, rapid response, a standing channel with the Italian heritage authorities.

Client-side project and programme management: representing the owner, coordinating the consultants, controlling time, cost and quality.

Scheduling, steering and coordination of complex operations (the OPC mission set out in French public-works law): keeping the works programme complete and coherent, managing the interfaces between the firms and consultants on site, and holding the contractual dates.

Conservation management plans, enhancement plans, public-access programmes.

Reporting for owners, boards and auditors.

When monitoring identifies work that needs designing, what follows is Architecture & Restoration. Furnishings, works and collections have a route of their own, which is Art Advisory & Valuation.

Having the multi-year programme already written is what makes it possible to move when a call opens: that is the work of Funding & Tenders.
