Partners for
cultural legacy
ACAM is a consultancy and design practice specialising in historic and artistic heritage: listed buildings, estates and houses, works and collections. We act for the owner and look after their interests: we coordinate the consultants, we check the contractors' work, and we are the ones who deal with the heritage authorities.
We were founded in 2014 as a technical and legal practice at once — architect Damiano Minozzi and lawyer Pietro Ilardi — because on property like this the regulation and the building site are one problem, and to anyone who can read them together, one opportunity.
Main office in Rome, Milan office run by architect Eleonora Torrigiani, with the firm since 2015 and a partner since 2024.

We design restorations and oversee the works, and we help the owner hand it on. To do that, we speak the language of the lawyers, notaries and tax advisers — ours, or the ones they already work with: we sit at the table with them. To every engagement we bring a team chosen for that project, one point of contact, and reporting that is written to be used, not filed.
The five Practice lines follow the life of a property: what you are buying, before you sign; the design, the consents, the site; care and enhancement, which are planned (and so is the expenditure); the art and the furnishings, which follow rules of their own. And then the question that runs through all four: who pays, and under what procedure.
